The STEAM project was officially launched this Thursday, September 21, at the Imam Al-Ghazali public school in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Ali Habouha, Governor of the Province of Berkane, and Mr. Mohammed Jelloul, President of the Provincial Council, along with a range of partners and local officials.
This educational project, encompassing the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, was conceived and implemented through the collaboration of a set of partners and local actors, including the Regional Academy of Education and Training, the Provincial Association for the Development and Generalization of Education (APPGE), the National Initiative for Human Development, the Local Development Company Majal Berkane, as well as the company BITBOT.
The main objective of this project is to make the world of robotics and artificial intelligence accessible to all layers of society, with a particular emphasis on students. It aims to strengthen critical and logical thinking while promoting the development of mental and cognitive abilities among young students, regardless of their age groups and academic levels, as well as among teachers in public education.
This project is intended to benefit more than 1000 children, as well as over 5000 students from various academic levels.
